First exam: Friday October 3, covers 1.1-1.5, 2.1-2.3, 3.1-3.4. There is a review sheet on the last page of Wednesday October 1 notes (below), as well as a practice exam and solutions:

Second exam: Friday November 14, covers 3.5-3.6, 4 (but not the numerical part), 5. There is a review sheet on the first page of November 12 class notes, as well as a practice exam. Solutions will be posted by Wednesday night.

Final exam: 8-10 a.m. Wednesday December 17. Our Friday December 12 notes are the review sheet, and the actual exam and solutions from 2006 provide a good practice. (Of course, actual questions and topics won't be exactly the same!) Disregard question 8 about the wave equation.
