ABSTRACT:

This document outlines the use of the IBIS software package. The package is an implementation of the immersed boundary method for simulating problems in which elastic objects are immersed in an incompressible fluid. The package includes a preprocessor to allow the package to work on a variety of problems, a numerical simulator and a graphically oriented postprocessor.
