The IBIS Package

The IBIS package contains a group of programs that can be divided into 2 categories. The categories and the role of programs in these catagories are:

IBIS User Software Library.
This library consists of programs that IBIS users will frequently employ. These programs are relatively user friendly and difficult to use incorrectly.

IBIS Core Software Library.
This library consists of programs that IBIS users will not frequently employ, and may never need to understand. These programs are quite difficult to use, but are very flexible and can be called from the command line. Since they are difficult to use, the chance of making an error when they are employed is high.

In addition to the IBIS program libraries, the IBIS package contains installation files, makefiles, a group of examples. These are all documented in this manual.
