Spring 2012 Fellowships

All students who will be in the graduate program in the Spring semester and are US citizens, nationals, or permanent residents are welcome to apply for VIGRE Graduate Fellowships. Students who are pursuing a Masters as a terminal degree are not eligible.

The fellowship includes a stipend, tuition payment, and book allowance. Teaching assignments are waived for fellows. Fellows are expected to participate in other aspects of the VIGRE program.

Application process:

To apply, please submit the following items to Daniela (dciubo@math.utah.edu, JWB 239) by November 15, 2011:

- a brief (about one page) research proposal
- a brief letter of support from advisor
