Owen Lewis

My name is Owen Lewis. I am currently a Post-Doc in the Mathematical Biology Research Group at the University of Utah where I work with Dr. Aaron Fogelson and Dr. James Keener. I received my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of California Davis where I worked under Dr. Robert Guy.

When not working, I like to spend my time playing in the nearby Wasatch Mountains (or anywhere outdoors). During the Summer months I enjoy backpacking and hiking whenever possible, particularly with my dog Barry. I am also an avid alpine and backcountry skier. Barry is still learning how to ski. Once the weather turns, we spend the majority of our free time doing whatever we can to play in the snow.
