Breakfast: If we made the reservation for you, or you used the link we emailed you to reserve, then breakfast is included with your reservation at the Garden Inn. However, there will also be bagels (with spreads), muffins, coffee (can and decaf), and tea at the conference site.

Banquet: On Friday, March 30th, a conference banquet will be held in honor of Bob Burton and Ed Waymire. All participants are welcome to attend. For more information, including pricing and registration, click on the Banquet tab.

Lectures: The main talks will be taking place at the Linus Pauling Science Center, or briefly LPSC, room 125. (The official address of the building is 2900 SW Campus Way, Corvallis, OR 97331.)

Short talks will take place in LPSC 125 and also in the building next door, Withycombe Hall, room 109 (official address is 2901 SW Campus Way Corvallis, OR 97331).

The lecture rooms are each equipped with an LCD projector and white boards.

LPSC is a 15 minute walk from the Garden Inn.

Directions: The closest airport to Corvallis, is Eugene (EUG), but it is usually cheaper to fly into Portland (PDX).

There is a shuttle called Oregon Express (877-693-3785, $19 one way, off season pricing) that travels between PDX and OSU. Another service is HUT (541-926-2525, one way: $39, round trip: $68, stops at Hilton Garden Inn).

From EUG, you can take OmniShuttle (541-461-7959).

Parking: OSU Parking permits are not required after 5pm on Friday, or at all on Saturday. There are no campus shuttles after 7pm Friday or at all Saturday. Here is a map of parking lots.

Busses: Local city busses are free. Mapped routes can be found via google maps.

Walking: from downtown (Monroe and 2nd) it takes 10-15 min to walk to campus (Monroe and NW Kings). This may be a faster option than waiting for a bus or looking for parking.

Restaurants: There are plenty of venues along Monroe Avenue and in downtown Corvallis. For more information click on the Food tab.
