Minhua Cheng (程闽华)

I am currently a third year PhD student in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Utah, advised by Jon Chaika and Sean Howe. My research interests lie in ergodic theory and number theory.
From 2020 to 2021, because of the pandemic, I was a research assistant at Morningside Center of Mathematics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2020, I received my B.S. degree at Xi'an Jiaotong University, China, under the supervision of Ping Xi (郗平). My undergraduate thesis is about algebraic exponential sums over finite fields.
