       SUBROUTINE  SYMRS (NUMBER,CH)
 C$    (Redefine Symbol)
 C$    Redefine the single Hollerith  character stored in "CH"  to
 C$    represent the Hershey symbol defined by the integer  stored
 C$    in "NUMBER".  The definition  applies to the current  font,
 C$    which must have been defined before calling this routine.
