Mathematics 5010-2
Final Exam Practice
Winter 2000
The following are the first four of the practice tests that you will receive.
Each practice test is made up of 4-5 problems; that is, the size of a midterm.
The final may be somewhat longer.
Even though the following questions may only ask you to perform some
calculations, in the final, you will be expected to understand
the meaning of such calculations, as well as the concepts behind them. It
is very likely that you will be tested on these concepts; that is, to ensure a good
final exam score, you will need to understand the basic theoretical concepts, as well
as know how to make computations.
