Announcements: (in reverse chronological order)
- A collection of 3 midterm exam problems in PDF file.
- The third midterm is not good. The medium is 51.
Among 88 students, 3 got 90-99, 5 got 80-89,
15 got 70-79, 13 got 60-69, 10 got 50-59,
17 got 40-49, 14 got 30-39.
- The second midterm is even better! The medium is 87, stellar! Among 90 students who participated in the exam, 2 got 100, 36 got 90-99, 17 got 80-89, 12 got 79-79, 7 in 60-69, and 6 in 50-59, 7 in 40-49, and 3 under 40.

- Congratulations on your hard work. Our first midterm exam produces
a good result. The medium is 68 (good job!)
Here is the breakdown: Among 98 students,
5 got perfect scores, 9 got 90-99, 16 got 80-89,
14 got 70-79, 15 got 60-69, 14 got 50-59,
10 got 40-49, 9 got 30-39, the rest few are below 30.
- We will have 4 review sessions, starting next week (either Monday or Tuesday). (2008/09/11)
- The course syllabus slightly modified. The office hours are set to be MWF 12-12:50 and by appointments. The first midterm is only 2 weeks away! (2008/09/09)
- The due date of WW 1-Review is postponed to 9th Sep. (2008/09/02)
