Exams

Final Exam: The final exam will be held on Thursday, 07/31/08, from 12:30p to 2:30p in LCB 219 (our regular classroom). It will be a comprehensive exam, covering topics from the first two exams as well as the power series material from homework #10. The exam will consist of 4 "easier" questions and 6 "harder" questions. The 4 questions will be slightly easier than questions from exam #1 or exam #2. The 6 questions will be roughly the same difficulty as the questions on the previous exams. For the 6 questions, you will have a choice between two options. The best way to study for the exam will be to review the two midterm exams. In addition, the following problems would be worthwhile to look at and know how to do.

6.3: 40
6.4: 31, 32
6.6: 4, 8
6.8: 67, 69
6.10: 28, 31, 32
  (from sample test section)
7.1: 21, 25
7.2: 5, 15
7.3: 1, 3, 25
7.4: 9, 11
7.5: 3, 7
8.2: 27, 33
8.3: 14
9.1: 27
9.2: 2, 3, 13

Also, we will have a review session for the final on Wednesday, 07/30/08, at 3:00p in room LCB 215.
