“Math Biology Workshop on Building an Interdisciplinary Career” took place at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT on May 15-16, 2009. The workshop brought together early-career researchers (advanced graduate students, post-docs, and young assistant professors) in mathematical biology who shared their research and discussed the challenges of building a research career that crosses the disciplines of mathematics and biology.

The schedule included two plenary talks, other talks, poster sessions, panel discussions, and other opportunities for meeting and socializing with peers in the field of mathematical biology.
