About me:

I am an associate professor at The University of Utah (I started in Fall 2014). Previously I was at PSU and Michigan .

I am currently studying questions related to local behavior (that is, singularities) and global behavior (for example, vanishing theorems) in birational algebraic geometry and in positive characteristic.

I live on the boundary between commutative algebra and algebraic geometry.
