Old Announcements for Math 1220-2, Fall 2006

Office hour is now 8:30-10:30 am Thursday mornings. The periods 8:30-9 am and 10-10:30 am are reserved for individual appointments. Please email me at the address on the syllabus if you would like to make an appointment. The remaining time (9-10 am) is open office hour and everyone is welcome to attend at this time.
(10/31) Exam II will cover sections 9.1-9.4 and 10.1-10.7. Note that section 10.8 will NOT be covered on Exam II. This is a change from the description on the review sheet.
(10/31) Section 10.8 homework is deferred to homework 11 and will not be collected Friday. Only sections 10.6-10.7 are due on 11/1.
(10/31) The review session for Exam II will be this Wednesday (11/1) from 7-9 pm in LCB 215.
(11/7) Class for Wednesday 11/8 has been CANCELLED. I will hand back exams on Friday 11/10, or you may pick them up in my office starting Wednesday afternoon.
(11/8) Homework 11 has been posted. Homeworks are now collected on Mondays, 12 days after they are assigned and absolutely no late homework will be accepted.
(11/8) The syllabus with the updated course outline has been posted. The old syllabus can be found here.
(12/8) The final exam review has been posted and solutions should follow in a few days. The review session will be held Monday December 11 from 7-9 pm in LCB 215.
(12/8) The grade scale I announced in class has been posted.
(12/8) There is a change to Homework 13 that has not been posted--We did not cover the material for problem 45 of section 12.9, so I am un-assigning this problem.
