Textbook : Differential Equations and Boundary value problems, 3rd Ed., by Edwards & Penny

Prerequisites: Math 2270

Course Description and a brief syllabus:
Linear and nonlinear differential equations and systems of equations, with application. Matrix exponential, fundamental
solution of matrix, phase-space and portraits, stability, introduction to partial differential equations.

Course Policies:

Homework: There will be weekly HW assignments due on every Thursday. Late HW will not be accepted.
Exam : Three Midterms and Final: M1: Feb 8, M2:Mar 10, M3:April 7, Final:May 3. There will be no Make-ups
Grading: based on

Three Midterms (each 15 %, total 45%)

Final Exam (30%)
