Abstract: I will present a behavioral analysis of specific functions derived from computational models of the hippocampus including spatial and temporal pattern separation, spatial pattern associations, and spatial pattern completion associated with specific subregions of the hippocampus in rats. If time allows I will present some data on temporal dynamics and encoding vs retrieval.
