»Extra credit for exam 1:  In groups of 3-5 you will turn in a solution set to practice exam 1 posted below, and the group will arrange to meet with me for a few minutes to discuss the practice exam or any questions that you might have.  You will only get 2.5 points extra credit if you do this alone, don't meet with me, turn it in late, and no points if you turn it in after the exam 1.  This assignment if due September 6th at 11:30 AM in my office.  This assignment is worth 5 points.  Before you meet with your group you should work all the problems your self.  When you meet with your group you should go over the solution to each problem, and write up the solution set that you will turn into me.
