The following .pdf file is a sketch of what I once thought a maximal disk of a projective structure with Schottky holonomy might look like.  Several assumptions I held at the time of the sketching turned out not to hold.  Such is life in mathematics.  But the sketch remains nonetheless, a testament to the unexpected visual aesthetics of mathematics and as a reminder to me to make sure I know what I'm doing before I make bold claims.
