Reminder: There is a quiz on Wednesday, October 21.
If you do not drop this quiz, it will count for 6% of your
grade for the course. The quiz will take
30 minutes and covers section 2.8 on partial fraction
decompositions as well as problems that do not
need a calculator from sections 3.1 and 3.2.
The main emphasis in the problems from 3.1 and 3.2
will be on graphing problems such as
y = 2^(x+3) - 1 or y = 3 - log(x+5)
and problems such as computing
log 1/16 or log 16

Because this quiz has a lot of graphing
questions, CALCULATORS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.
