    5. $ \{1,2,3\}\cap\{-1,-2,3,4\} = \{3\}$, where $ \cap$ denotes intersection.
    6. $ \{1,2,3\}\cup\{-1,-2,3,4\} = \{3\}$, where $ \cup$ denotes union.
