I am a postdoc at the University of Utah. At the moment I am visiting MSRI for the program in algebraic geometry.

From 2006 - 2008 I was a post doc at the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications in Minneapolis which was hosting a program on "Applications of Algebraic Geometry" in 2006 - 2007.

I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of Michigan in April 2006 under the direction of William Fulton.

Research interests

Algebraic geometry and combinatorics; Toric varieties; Syzygies; Hilbert scheme of points.

Teaching

Fall 2008: Math 1090: Business algebra.

I taught several classes of calculus 105, 115 and 116 at the University of Michigan.

In summer 2006, I taught Funktionentheorie (complex analysis) at the Freie Universität Berlin.
