  1. Hello. Welcome to Math 1100 website. In this first message I would like to stress that if you struggled in the warm-up quiz on Monday, then you need to talk to me immediately. Those materials are absolutely minimal requirements for this course and we won't have time to review them in details.

  2. The room for our class has been moved to LS 101 from Friday 08/31 by popular demand.

  3. (09/17/07) The first midterm would be in-class this Friday(09/21). It covers 9.1 to 9.9. You are allowed to bring ONE cheat sheet (normal A4 size), and your calculator. The questions should be similar to HW questions, so if you need practice, just use your book. Any potential conflict should be reported to me immediately.

  4. (10/05/07) There will be no class on Monday Oct 15 (following your vote today). I will have an OPTIONAL make-up class at some point.

  5. (10/17/07) The second midterm would be in-class this Monday(10/22). It covers 10.1 to 10.3. You are allowed to bring ONE cheat sheet (normal A4 size), and your calculator.
