Title: Color Spaces and Image Compression

Abstract: The project will focus on the uses of different color spaces to represent images. Specifically, the project will function as an exploration of the transformations between several common color spaces, and their applications to image processing and compression. This will include examples of basic color compressions (through singular value decomposition) and discussion on how more modern, sophisticated color compressions work.
