11/20/06: Don't forget that we have a quiz tomorrow, covering Sections 6.1-6.6. Also, no matter how many times you ask, we do have class on Wednesday, and we will be covering new material.

Old Announcements
10/30/06: We have a quiz tomorrow, Tuesday, the 31st. Also, we will plan on having the second midterm exam Wednesday, November 8. The exam will cover chapters 3-5, inclusive. There will also be one more WebWork before the exam, which should be posted by the 31st.
10/17/06: Please note that the fourth WebWork assignment is due Friday, October 20, at midnight. The problems will take much more work than those on previous assignments, so please don't leave it for the last minute.
10/9/06: There will be a quiz on Sections 3.1-3.4 on Thursday, October 12.
9/27/06: There will be a review session on Tuesday, October 3, at 5:30pm, in LCB 225.
9/25/06: The first midterm exam will take place on Wednesday, October 4, in class, and will cover Chapters 0-2. Also, there will be a quiz on Sections 2.1-2.7 on Thursday, September 28, at the end of class.
9/21/06: The third WebWork assignment, due Monday, October 2. There are 21 problems, so get a head start and work on it gradually from now until it is due.
8/31/06: For those of you interested in a unit circle diagram with important points labeled, here is one created by a colleague of mine in Louisiana.
8/23/06: Contrary to my statements in class and on the syllabus, we will be using the NINTH edition of Varberg's Calculus text (that's the white one). Revised assignments coming soon.
