It is available through Springer Link (you may need a university IP). You can download separate chapters or the whole book.

Lecture notes: We will sometimes use these lecture notes.
Even if we do not follow them directly, it may be useful to read them whenever we are learning about a topic covered by these notes.
For instance, you may find it beneficial to read the two primers on probability and statistics.
