Unless told so, use standard sized white paper. Write in blue ink, black ink or pencil.
There should be no ragged edged paper. The paper should arrive in good condition: use a folder.
Place your name, class, assignment number on the top of the first page. Number the pages and attach them with a staple or a paper-clip.
Write legibly and neatly. You do not need to have a nice handwriting to write clearly!
Number the exercises, and separate them by a small line. Do not break up your page in columns. Try to do the problems in the assigned order.
First do your homework on scratch paper. When you have the answer, copy it onto your final paper.
Justify your work and use mathematical symbols appropriately.
Draw graphs, sketches, diagrams in pencil and use ruler and compass if necessary.
Highlight your answer e.g. by underlining or placing it in a box. If you are solving a word problem, it requires a sentence as an answer.
Finish your work with a line.
