• Modeling platelet adhesion and cohesion.
  My interest in this comes from my lab rotation with Dr. Connie Hall at IIT.
• How white blood cells travel in whole blood.
  Scott Simon (U.C. Davis) introduced my advisor to this subject and now I'm thinking about using my current model to play with leukocyte-RBC interactions.
• Stochastic differential equations with variable diffusion coefficients.
• Hybrid OpenMP and MPI parallelization.
• Evolution of the vertebrate lung.
  I came across this project when Dr. C.G. Farmer (U. Utah) gave a talk in our Math Biology seminar. Courtney Davis and I worked with a group of undergraduates with the help of Dr. Farmer on a related project and hopefully this work will continue.
