Appendix A:
*There are more assigned problems in the appendix than there will be in most later sections. It is very important to solidify your background in basic algebra, so I strongly suggest you work all of these problems. Because this chapter is review, most of the problems should not take much time to complete.

Chapter 1:

*The problems in brackets (ie: [85, 91]) are challenge questions (just for fun) to get you thinking about math in a more advanced way.
