  • Lectures: MF 12:55-1:45 in JWB 308, W 9:40-10:30 in LCB 121. There is a problem solving session T 10:45-11:35 in JWB 208. The changes in the meeting times on Tuesday and Wednesday are meant to resolve some scheduling conflicts.
  • Textbook: W. Rudin "Real and Complex Analysis" starting with Chapter 10. We'll also use from time to time material from L. Ahlfors' "Complex Analysis" 3rd edition.

  • Homework:
  • for the 1/15 recitation: we'll discuss the problem of defining branches for the square root and logarithm (see Ahlfors, 70-71, for example).
