  • Grading scheme

(revised 08/31/07) The lowest score on the quizzes will be dropped. The lowest score on the homework sets will be dropped as well. (A missed quiz or homework get automatically the score 0. Make up quizzes are only given when the reason is officially approved by the university.) The two remaining quizzes will count for 2x150 points, the final for 300 points, and the total homework score will be 200 points.

    Homework

You should include in your solutions the details of the calculations and reasoning; it is not sufficient to turn in just the final answers. The homework is due at the beginning of class. Late homeworks are not allowed, except for a medical or some other university approved reason.
