Math 2250-005/006: Differential Equations & Linear Algebra LabSpring 2011Course Information
Course Description: This lab course is a recetation that is intended to suppliment your Math 2250 lectures. In the lectures you will learn about introduction to differential equations, and how they are used
to model problems arising in engineering and science. Linear algebra is introduced as a tool for
analyzing systems of differential equations, as well as standard linear equations. Computer projects
will be assigned to enhance the material. In this lab course we will spend the majority of class time working through additional example problems similar to those seen in your general lectures. In addition, you will
be introduced to some of the mathematical software available to you on the University computers. This software will be very helpful in completing your homework assignments and the semester project. Also, your midterms will be
administered during the recitation section so that it does not inturrupt the normal flow of the sequence of lectures but also so that you have more time to complete the problems.
