MINI-COURSE ON THE SYNTHETIC GEOMETRY OF THE WEIL-PETERSSON METRIC
MAY 10 - 21, 2004


For the first 4 days of the mini-course Bob Bell, Mladen Bestvina, Ken Bromberg and Dan Margalit will give a series of introductory lectures on Teichmuller Theory and Mapping Class Groups. Jeff Brock will begin lecturing on Friday, May 14. There will be two lectures each morning. Afternoons will be left open for problem sessions and discussion. We may also organize extra lectures in the afternoon depending on interest.

The Wasatch Topology Conference will be on Friday, May 21 and Saturday, May 22.
