Basil K. Malyshev, a researcher at the Institute for High Energy Physics, in Moscow, Russia, developed a set of PostScript Type 1 representations of Computer Modern fonts; they are available for non-commercial use through the Comprehensive TeX Archive Network archives, and the many archives that mirror the CTAN collection.
