The Type-on-Call CD-ROM contains fonts in encrypted form (files *.pf_ ), documentation in English, French, and German, and installation and ordering software for IBM PC Windows 3.1 or later, Macintosh, Silicon Graphics IRIX 5.3 or later, and Sun Solaris 2.4 or later. Access keys can be purchased via the World-Wide Web at http://www.adobe.com/type/tocreg.html

The CD-ROM also contains directory trees free/acroread, free/browser, and free/pc. The first contains complete fonts AdobeSansMM, AdobeSerifMM, and ZapfDingbats distributed with the free Acrobat Reader. The second and third contain stripped-down fonts, each offering samples of about 10% of the characters in the full font, sufficient to get a flavor of its appearance.

For convenience, here is a directory of the initial letters of the 2198 unique font names in the 2389 font files on the CD ROM. They are given in alphabetical order in the remainder of this document.
