Exams
For all midterms: Calculators are allowed
as well as one sheet (double sided) with the formulae from the book
that you need (no solved exercises, practice exams...)
The first midterm exam will be held
Tue 02/15 changed
to Thu 02/17, in class (1 hour long). The program
includes Chapter 1 and
section 1 of chapter 2.
There will be a review session,
Thu 02/10 changed to Tue 02/15; I
will post on this webpage the corresponding
practice exam this week. You should try to do it entirely, so you can
ask questions during the review.

the open models); sections 1,2,3 in chapter 4;chapter 5, chapter 6 (no
arithmetic or geometric sequences, no deferred annuities)
Webwork
Remember
that WW weighs as much as exams in the final grade, be sure to complete
it on time.
A demo for webwork will be done in class
Tuesday 01/18. There is already a demo set that you can do to practice
and see if everything works.
