The aim of the school is to provide a general introduction to birational geometry and moduli spaces.
More details will be given in the abstracts provided by the speakers.

The school will be followed by a program on the same topics to be hold in Snowbird Utah
from June 12 to June 18, 2010. Birational Geometry and Moduli Spaces

If you are planning to take part in the Snowbird program, then you may view this two-week
school as an opportunity to form a solid background on the subject in preparation for more
advanced readings that will be proposed during the Snowbird program.
Please note that the funding for the school is totally separate from the MRC Program at Snowbird.

The workshop is funded by Utah's VIGRE grant and de Fernex' NSF CAREER grant.
