Tutoring Center

The math department offers free drop-in tutoring for Math 990 and math department classes at the 1000 and 2000 level, as well as Math 3070-3080, 3140, 3150, 3160. The tutoring center is located in room 155 of the T. Benny Rushing Mathematics Center (adjacent to the LCB and JWB). To let the tutors know that you need help, simply put up one of the flags. If you find that you'd prefer more personalized attention than our tutoring center can give, try the ASUU Tutoring Center, 330 SSB, or pick up a private tutor list from the math department office (233 JWB).

The Tutoring Center is closed during semester breaks, on weekends, and University Holidays. For Fall Semester 2015, the tutoring center will open on Monday, August 31st and will be open through finals. Please check at the tutoring center for possible shorter hours during finals. The tutoring center will be closed during Fall Break: October 11-18 and on the following University holidays: Monday, September 7 (Labor Day) and Thursday - Friday, November 26 - 27 (Thanksgiving Break).

All of our tutors can help students with algebra, trigonometry and calculus. For other subjects please check the schedule below to see when someone who can help you will be in.
