The math department offers free drop-in tutoring for math department classes at the 1000 and 2000 level, as well as the following 3000 level classes: 3070-3080, 3150, 3160. The tutoring center is located in room 155 of the T. Benny Rushing Mathematics Center (adjacent to the LCB and JWB). To let the tutors know that you need help, simply put up one of the flags. If you find that you'd prefer more personalized attention than our tutoring center can give, try the ASUU Tutoring Center, 330 SSB, or pick up a private tutor list from the math department office (233 JWB).
The Tutoring Center is closed during semester breaks and on weekends and University Holidays. For Summer Semester 2008, the tutoring center will open on Wednesday, May 14 and will be open through finals. Please check at the tutoring center for possible shorter hours during finals. The tutoring center will be closed on the following University holidays: Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day), Friday, July 4 (Independence Day), and Thursday, July 24 (Pioneer Day).
All of our tutors can help students with algebra, trigonometry and calculus. For other subjects please check the schedule below to see when someone who can help you will be in.
