How is this program different from the teaching major with licensure? During your undergraduate years you will take more math classes to enrich your knowledge. You will have the opportunity to shadow and assist a teacher of Math 1010 or Math 1050, thus gaining experience. After you have completed your bachelors degree you will earn your teaching license either through a masters degree program or through the alternative certification program through the Utah State Office of Education.
