Computer Lab

The Mathematics Computer Lab is located in the T. Benny Rushing Mathematics Center, room 155C. Each student enrolled in a math class may have access to these facilities. There are many software packages available in the lab. A lab assistant is available to help you during the hours the lab is open. Each lab assistant is skilled in different areas, so it may help to check the schedule below to see when someone will be in who can best help you. By using a math department account, you are agreeing to abide by our computer account policy.

The lab is closed on weekends, University holidays and during semester breaks. For Spring Semester 2013, the lab will open on Monday, January 7 and will remain open through finals. The lab will be closed during Spring Break: March 10-17 and on the following University holidays: Monday, January 21 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) and Monday, February 18 (Presidents' Day).

Students may also use the computer lab in 205 South Physics. This is a good option for students who need to use the computer lab on weekends or earlier or later than the mathematics lab is open. When using SP 205, please print to printer name "spps" so that your printouts will be sent to the appropriate printer. In order to use SP 205 you'll need to request access at www.physics.utah.edu/index.php/facilities.

LCB 115 is the classroom computer lab. This lab is reserved for use by classes and has 35 computers available for students to use. Reservations should be made through:
