X-ARRAY

 X(*,*).......X(I,K)  is  point  I  in  curve  K.   X  values  must   be
              ***ASCENDING***  order  if   integration,  averaging,   or
              differentiation  of  the   input  curves  are   requested.
              Interpolation can  be  done for  arbitrary  space  curves,
              including closed ones signalled  by the first point  being
              the same as the last point.
