Patterns of mutation in the human genome

Abstract: The number of mutations found in an offspring's genome increases with both paternal and maternal age. But does the rate of mutation accumulation in human gametes differ across families? I will report on variable mutation rates and patterns observed through genome sequencing of 33 large, three-generation human families from Utah.
