Math Bio

The goal is to bring together a broad range of mathematical biology trainees, with interests ranging from immunology, physiology, biophysics and evolutionary biology, and develop a framework for synthetic research on cancer immunology.

Dominik Wodarz, University of California at Irvine
Baltazar Aguda, Mathematical Biosciences Institute, Ohio State University
Peter Lee, Stanford University

Although diverse in the balance of mathematics and biology, the speakers are united by common questions. Local and invited trainees will read and discuss recommended papers in advance, and the workshop will mix formal lectures with paper discussions and question sessions.
