Course Requirements

Students will design an individualized program of study that includes:

• core mathematics
• seminar on ethics in research
• biology and life science course work
• journal clubs
• laboratory rotations
• internships

All students will have a life science mentor and will participate in a Special Interest Group. Research projects will be jointly directed by life science and mathematics faculty. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a PhD in Mathematics. A more detailed description of procedures and requirements can be found here.
