After a brief introduction to micromagnetics, the speaker will present
the Gauss-Seidel Projection Method, an unconditionally stable method
for the Landau-Lifshitz equations. With this method we were able to
correctly simulate the magnetization reversal process in a
ferromagnetic sample in the presence of vortices.
