What do genetics, environmental biology, emerging diseases, cancer biology, and immunology have in common? These complex and increasingly important areas are all aspects of quantitative biology, and require the combined power of modern mathematical, computational and statistical tools to advance.

The University of Utah is building upon its long history of research leadership by fostering collaboration in quantitative biology. A workshop will be held, featuring three renowned scientists:
Ray Goldstein, Cambridge University:
"Evolution of Biological Complexity"

Simon Levin, Princeton University:
"The Challenge of Sustainability"

Alan Perelson, Los Alamos National Laboratories:
"The Dynamics of Virus Infection and Treatment"
Join us to think about the future of biology.
