Domain perturbation for elliptic equations with Robin boundary conditions. by Daniel Daners (B.Y.U. Math) JTB 120, 3:20pm Monday, February 2, 1998 Abstract We consider elliptic equations subject to Robin boundary conditions on sequences of domains converging to a limiting domain. We ask whether the corresponding solutions converge, and what limiting problem they solve. In contrast to Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions it very much depends on how the domain converges. We shall see that under suitable assumptions the limiting problem is a Dirichlet problem, or a Robin problem with the same or a different coefficient on the boundary.
