Title: On the representation of relaxed energies in 3D-2D dimensional 
       reduction

Abstract: 
  An integral representation in terms of Young measures is obtained for a 
relaxed functional arising in the derivation of a two-dimensional theory for 
heterogeneous thin films from nonlinear elasticity. 
  The main ingredient of the proof is a decomposition result for sequences of 
suitably scaled gradients, where oscillation and concentration effects are 
separated.
