To participate in the following programs, sign up on your conference registration form.

Careers Information Lunch: A career lunch intended for students will be held Thursday, August 3 in the Biology Building from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. The box lunch is free if registered by June 30, and is $5 after June 30.

Conference Banquet: The banquet will be held on evening of Friday, August 4 at Red Butte Gardens and Arboretum and will be a ticketed event at $35.

Albion Basin Hike: This hike during the free afternoon on Friday, August 4, is in the beautiful high alpine basin of Little Cottonwood Canyon. The basin is near 10,000 feet in elevation and early August is usually the prime wildflower season. Transportation to Albion Basin will depart at 12:30 pm and return by 4:30 pm. The cost including a box lunch will be $20. Bring sturdy shoes and a light jacket. Please be aware that Albion basin is at a high altitude which may pose health risks.

Park City and Olympic Venue Tour: This is a tour of historic Main Street with its specialty shops, art galleries, museums, and diverse restuarants (lunch on own), and is followed by a tour of Utah Winter Sports Park, home of the ski jumping, bobsled and luge tracks for the 2002 Winter Olympics. The cost is $39 for round trip transportation, guided narration, and entrance fees.
