Course description The course discusses analytic functions, complex integration, Cauchy integral theorem, power series for analytic functions, Laurent series, residues, and contour integrals, conformal mappings with applications to electrostatics, heat, and fluid flow.

Grading:  The  homework will count for 20 % of the grade, two midterms will be 25 % each, and the final exam will make up the remaining 30 % of the grade.

Homework: Homework will be assigned every week and  collected on Tuesdays, and some portion of the problems will be
graded. Late homework will not be accepted. You are encouraged to discuss homework problems with friends and make study groups, but each homework should be written individually. (Copying someone else's work will be punished).
