Course description The course
will discuss differentiation, maximization and minimization of
functions, marginal analysis and the optimization of constrained
functions, integration and applications.
Grading: The homework will count for 20 % of the
grade, two midterms will be 25 % each, and the final exam will make up
the remaining 30 % of the grade.
Homework: Homework will be assigned every week and collected on
Tuesdays, and some portion of the problems will be
graded. Late homework will not be accepted. You are encouraged to
discuss homework problems with friends and make study groups, but each
homework should be written individually. (Copying someone else's work
will be punished).
ADA statement: The
American with Disabilities Act requires that
reasonable accommodations be provided for students with physical,
